Make a weekend of it and explore the mountains on foot or by bike, dine on excellent cuisine and taste Elgin’s best vintages at the local wine farms with your guests to make sure you start your married life on the right foot!
Day Visitors
At Trail’s End Adventure Hotel, we love welcoming our local community and visitors who enjoy our adventure-loving spirit. Your ongoing support helps us keep our facilities in excellent condition for both in-house guests and day visitors.
To ensure we can maintain our facilities at their best during the busy summer months (1 September to 30 April), a small entry fee will apply for day visitors wishing to use our amenities.
Childrens’ Parties & Camps
Find it hard to keep the kiddies busy at a party? Let us host your next one and you’ll never have that problem! With a swimming pool, climbing wall, pump track and bike rentals, ping pong table and the option to add on archery, quad biking, guided cycles, or outdoor education activities, they will definitely work off all the birthday cake!

Wanting to celebrate a milestone with friends and family but don’t want anyone driving home after the wild party you know you’re going to have? Book Trail’s End as a venue, with accommodation for 64 people on site, we’ll make sure all your friends get to bed safely! With world renowned trails out the back door, hopefully you can drag some friends out for a run or ride the next morning too to make the most of having all your nearest and dearest together in one place!
Anniversaries
Celebrating an anniversary? Nestled between picturesque mountains and some of South Africa’s best cool climate wine farms, Trail’s End is a great base for a romantic getaway. If you’re wanting a bit of excitement, the Cape Canopy Tours are only 20 minutes’ drive away, and guaranteed to sweep you off your feet again! Or looking for a romantic sundowner location, we have a few suggestions up our sleeves.
Bachelor/ette Dos
Wanting your Stag/Hen Do to stand out? Skip the clubbing (let’s be real, you can do that any time), and bring your crew out to Trail’s End for a weekend of shenanigans! Rent bicycles and spend the day exploring the mountains, we can recommend some fun spots for an icy swim too, book a quadbike ride, learn archery and then party into the night (we even have a karaoke set for you), knowing no one has to drive home. Afterall, you need to make stories you can tell the kids one day!
